Ethics of foreclosure

One of the most difficult ethical dilemmas facing real estate investors is the morals with negotiating with an owner facing a foreclosure.

Are you helping the motivated seller or are you a vulture seeking to make a dollar on the misfortune of an individual.

It’s important to always be respectful with your clients and treat them the way you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes.

While there can be quite a bit of value for a distressed seller to have a speedy transaction that provides them with needed cash, if you push too hard it can be seen as unethical.

If you can go to sleep at night and not feel the least bit guilty about your moral and ethical conduct, than you should be in good shape.

Always try and help your customer and solve a problem for them.
